Ran my own firm for 25 years. Received "2006 Best Institutional Building" award from the Associated Builders and Contractors for Suitland Elementary School a green school with photovoltaic shingles powering the science lab and wonderful ceramic tile murals throughout the school designed by my artist husband.


Worked for 11 years at one of the top 10 AE firms with offices in 191 countries. Managed top secret cybersecurity governmental projects in DC (St. Elizabeths), Fort Gordon GA, Texas Cryptologic Center TX, Secure project at Wiesbaden, Germany. Also managed health projects including Naval Medical Research Unit, Cairo, Egypt, and Rockingham Memorial Hospital MRI Outpatient Clinic building. Also wrote specifications for the Brendon Iribe Center for Computer Science and Engineering at University of Maryland.

Had to close the business due to the declining economy.

French - poorly but I do use it. I visit France a lot and the French Embassy was a client of mine.

A 50 lb sulcatta turtle - he is 19 years old and will live to be 120 years. Looking for a budding veterinarian to leave him to. My son who is now a veterinarian obtained him at 10 oz.

Son went to Whitman and then graduated Pre-Med Boston College and VMd University of Pennsylvania and is now a practicing Veterinarian in San Francisco. Note that at least 5 of his Whitman Classmates became veterinarians thanks to the great Anatomy/Biology teacher at Whitman.
