An Opening Statement:

I still feel lucky to have grown up in Montgomery County and have gone to Walt Whitman. I've lived all over the country, in Oregon, New York, Massachusetts, Texas, Missouri and now North Carolina. Going to North Carolina, where I went to college (Duke) was like coming home. It reminded me of Bannockburn where I grew up. It's funny how comforting it is to be back in a place like home. I hope to see you all next year. Be healthy and be happy.

I just want to send my condolences to Polly's family.  So glad she has such a beautiful family to survive her.  She and I had some fun and crazy times both at Whitman and subsequent summers.  She had a great sense of humor and was a good friend.  This is sad news.

I am sad to hear this news.  Paul was a good friend in high school and I spent many hours with him and other friends, listening to music, drinking more than we should, dancing, driving around in cars.  Rest in peace Paul.  You clearly died too young.
