Henry C. Palmer, 59, of Bethesda, died of natural causes Dec. 10, 2010, in Newark, Del.

Born June 19, 1951 in New York, N.Y., he was a son of the late Edward C. and Gladys Tedder Palmer.

He was the husband of Matilde Garcia Palmer for 17 years.

Mr. Palmer held a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Georgia Tech.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two children, Jedidiah Palmer and Joshua Palmer, both of Bethesda; and one brother, Richard Palmer, of Germantown.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Fourth Presbyterian Church, 5500 River Road, Bethesda.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Family Place, 3309 16th St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20010.
