My 50th Reunion Experience in Detail:

I truly enjoyed the evening at Strathmore, being my first time there, and meeting old friends and hopefully not losing any. I was most impressed with the people from all over who went out of their way to get there; there was a beautiful lady from San Francisco who only went to Whitman for half a year but still came out for the event. The band was awesome, dancing was incredible (lost my dancing shoes back in '84 so I stayed off the floor.) and smiles were everywhere. Hopefully no girls were offended by my comment about checking their breasts out when I had to stoop over to read a name tag. Found out that Jim Mundy did the Coaches' poster which was awesome. Favorite fact I learned was that Staley Jackson finished Medical School. Everyone was looking good. I had to overcome a social handicap as I do not handle crowds well, so if you wondered why I kept going outside and looking at trees I was just getting enough courage up to hang in there. Thanks to the Committee, especially Herr Hoke who spent the past 12 months constructing a memorable web site to be preserved. Missed the luncheon due to my son's double header with St Johns in Baltimore. The preparation for everything was superb! Dudley Jones, Rick Baily and I would have preferred Budweiser, and that's the only negative comment I have.

Coach Papini smart mouthed him and said "I don't know, can you play? We passed the ball to him, and I never saw it go by and I don't think any one else did either, it was in the back of the net.
