I am so very sorry to learn of the loss of Dale, who had such a sweet disposition.

I'm stunned that Dale is no longer with us. I knew Dale from parties at Pyle, the Chevy Chase Women's Club Cotillion, and talked to her sometime after she had spent a year in Boulder at the University of Colorado.

I don't know how she died; does anyone know?

Dale had a wonderful character and was such a great person. I was so saddened to hear that she is no longer with us. Dale, may you rest in peace. Love - Kathy

Different though we were in high school, Dale and I remained close throughout the years. We'd gone to Wyngate Elementary and chanced to move next door to one another in 5th grade. She was glorious ... warm, bubbly, fun, so so smart with such a love of life. She was a lawyer who specialized in improving the court systems and lived in Williamsburg and then northern California with her marvelous husband Larry and two terrific children -- now in their 20s -- Laurel and Todd. She gave up law to attend culinary school and made desserts almost as divine was she was.
Dale fought a very tough fight for two years against cancer and was so dear to so many. I attended and spoke at a beautiful memorial service. Her parents and brother survive (along with her own wonderful family), and her folks still live in the house she lived in when she was at Whitman.
I miss and admire her.

Dale was one of my closest and dear friends in high school. We stayed in touch over the years and I saw her about 9 months before she died of ovarian cancer, She was surrounded by her wonderful husband, Larry, two children (a son Todd, and daugther, Laurel..her daugher looks like Dale)and her parents. It was a devasting loss....and way too soon. Dale inspired me always...so kind, bright and loving.

She was a lawyer and worked as part of team overseeing the Supreme Courts in California. She was also an amazing cook and had attended culinary school. She was well loved and now missed by many.
