Lynn Jensen writes-- Janet Bregman-Taney died of a brain tumor on Thanksgiving Day, 2005. Her survivors include her husband of almost 30 years, Peter Taney - Buckminster Fuller, Janet's employer at the time, spoke at their wedding - and their daughter Joy, now an Atlanta-based artist. The family lived in a rambling old house in Shawnee-On-Delaware, in the Poconos. At the time of her death, Janet was a journalist, editor, and writer (she co-authored "The Insider's Guide to the Poconos Mountains") and she perfomed with Peter in the Juggernaut String Band.
