Wow... where to start? Linda and I met in the summer of 1968 and were almost inseparable through most of our senior year. We both worked part-time in the Hecht Co. at the then, brand new Montgomery Mall. We usaually kept to ourselves and looked forward to our weekend nights off to go into the city for dinner and/or a show. I will always remember the many nights we would go by her dad's restaurant (Gusti's Italian) late, for coffee and dessert, and that would usually get her curfew extended (devil). She was always daddy's little princess. I remember going with her dad to pick up her Christmas present and hide it in her grandmothers garage, that was the white 1969 GTO convertable. Her mom was jealous, so dad bought her a new 1969 Cutlass Supreme. By the end of the week that did not se well with dad, he traded in his car for a new Caddy. Linda and I ran into each other once a couple of years after high school, then lost touch after I left the area. We connected on AOL (LOL) back in the late 90's and then lost contact again. I just recently was very saddened to learn of her passing at such an early age. I will always have a special place for her in my heart. heart
